Wisane Old Age Home

Procare identified Wisane Old Age Home situated in Hammanskraal, north of Pretoria, as part of our community project for 2019. The facility caters for 40 senior citizens under the management and care of Sr Sophy Bilankulu. Upon our initial visit to the Home we identified various needs to be addressed ranging from general facility maintenance and a basic need for food, clothing, bedding and medical supplies. We were informed that the staff often buys food and medical supplies from their own salaries to provide in the needs of the aged residents.
On 25 July 2019 it was our privilege to deliver donations received from our staff members and the wider community associated with Procare and celebrate with the Wisane residents and staff.
We thank all the contributors for their generosity, especially Glenfair Spar, Uitkyk Silverton & Pick n Pay Meyerspark, the Procare Team for all the clothing generously donated and Mr Dolf Nel who made a large personal contribution. Finally a big thank you to Cheryl, AJ, Möller and Solly who arranged and collected the contributions and delivered them to the home in Hammanskraal.

Our small but dynamic team of specialists are passionate about training and upskilling healthcare staff generally, so we offer nurses and other healthcare staff lifelong learning opportunities through accredited and non-accredited courses at the Procare Health Training Academy. In so doing, we enhance the quality of care rendered to the patient and, because we are constantly upskilling our own staff, we also offer added value to our clients.

Procare Health Training Academy’s short courses are open to any healthcare professional who wishes to upskill and promote their own employment opportunities.

We facilitate lifelong learning, enhancing patient care and its outcomes. Our employment solution adds true value to our clients, healthcare users and the employees who render the health care services.
