With a total of 50 year’s business and managerial experience under the belt, Dolf’s passion for people is clearly demonstrated through the various employee engagement initiatives that he has launched, aimed at the empowerment and development of his employees and to create career opportunities for those working in the nursing and caring environment.
He completed a Business Management Development Programme through the University of Pretoria’s Post Graduate Business School and a Certificate Course in Basic Counselling through the School for Psycho-Social Behavioural Sciences NWU as well as an IISA Programme in Short term Insurance through the Centre for Business Management UNISA.
Dolf has been practising as a financial consultant for 27years. He has served on the board of directors of many private companies, and has, since retirement from the insurance industry, started PROCARE HOLDINGS (PTY) LTD, a new group of companies operating in the supply of Nursing and Caring Staff to hospitals, retirement villages, Home-based Care, and other frail care facilities as well as Procare Health Training Academy Western Cape and Gauteng (Pty) Ltd.
Morné Nel is a Director of the Procare Group.
He has been a successful entrepreneur from a young age. He obtained a Financial Trading qualification and from there he learned the foundation and principles for the running of a successful company by shadowing numerous successful entrepreneurs.
He founded Exclusive Motor Sport, focusing on trading of automobiles in the online industry of which he then saw an opportunity to transition into the importation and resell of goods online using the vast knowledge and capital resources made from Exclusive Motor Sport. Morné is the founder and owner of one of the top online companies in South Africa, Exclusive Brands Online.
He has now expanded himself to be part of various companies. Morné is passionate about understanding the internal side of a company to create ways to automate processes for better efficiency.
FREDWILL de BEER
(CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER)
Since joining the Procare team in 2018, Fredwill has been in charge of a comprehensive transformation process within the Financial Department. He has already proven himself a highly valued team member and is passionate about expanding Procare’s footprint in the South African health care environment.
Fredwill completed a B.Comm Accounting at the University of Pretoria in 2013 and holds an honours degree in B.Comm Accounting from Unisa, which he obtained in 2016 while training SAICA his articles of clerkship at Logista CA (SA) Inc. After finishing his clerkship he stayed on at Logista CA (SA) as Audit Manager for two more years, whereafter he joined the Procare team in 2018.
At Procare, Fredwill assumes responsibility for the oversight of the entire Financial Department, overseeing budgets, forecasts and financial information analysis while also reviewing the work of the Accounting Department.
Fredwill reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and meets with the board on a regular basis to ensure that everyone is informed of all financial matters. He also works closely with the Operational Manager in terms of cost management and new opportunity forecasts.
DR YOLANDÉ HAYTON

Yolandé completed her B Cur nursing degree in 2005 at the University of
Potchefstroom where after she started practising as a registered professional nurse in the accident and emergency unit at Netcare Unitas hospital.
She then obtained her post graduate diploma in Health Sciences Education and Health Services Administration at UNISA in 2007. Thereafter she pursued her post graduate diploma in Emergency Nursing at the University of Pretoria, completing it in 2008, and then worked as a Shift Leader in the Accident and Emergency Unit. She then went on and obtained her Master’s degree (M Cur) in Emergency Nursing in 2009 and her PhD in Nursing Education in 2019, from the University of Pretoria.
She has been a member of the Golden Key Honours Society since 2011 and was invited to join the Sigma Theta Tau Honours Society in 2016 in recognition of her demonstrating strong leadership skills and exhibiting exceptional achievements in nursing.
She spent some time volunteering on the Transnet-Phelophepa healthcare train, as well as a 5-week stint in Belgium as part of an exchange programme where she worked in the AZ Sint Maarten Hospital.
Yolande joined Procare in November 2017 and now oversees all the branches of Procare nationally, as well as the Procare Health Training Academy.
DR. MICHELLE VAN BOMMEL
(REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER: SOUTHERN CAPE;

PRINCIPAL: PROCARE HEALTH TRAINING ACADEMY: WESTERN CAPE)
Michelle obtained her 4-year integrated diploma in General, Community and Psychiatric nursing, and midwifery from the South African Military Service at 1 Military Hospital in 1994. She then completed an Advanced Nurse Management diploma at UNISA in 1995 and went on to also obtain a BA Cur Nursing Administration and Education degree at UNISA in 2006. While doing so, she also completed a Critical Care certificate at Mediclinic in 2003. In 2004 she left for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and worked as Nursing Service Manager in the army hospital until 2011, overseeing general and cardiac ICU’s.
While living in the KSA, she completed her Honours and MACur Health Studies, and her research findings were selected to be presented at the Sigma Theta Tau International conference in Moscow.
She returned to South Africa in the middle of 2011 to assume the role of Head of College at an established private nurse and carer training facility in Cape Town. She is currently registered for a PhD in Nursing Administration and Education at UNISA.
Michelle joined Procare in May 2018 as Operational Manager for the Western Cape and serves on the board of directors of the Procare Training Academy and Emmanuel Verpleegskool.

Sr. YOLANDI VAN DEVENTER
(BRANCH MANAGER BLOEMFONTEIN)
Yolandi joined Procare in 2020 and established a branch in Bloemfontein, offering Advanced Wound Care services as a specialized field.
Yolandi obtained her Nursing degree in 2001 in General, Psychiatric, Midwifery and Community Nursing. She then completed her Advanced University Diploma in Primary Clinical Health Care at the University of the Free State in 2004.
In 2014 she completed her M Cur (Nursing) degree at the North West University and published her article in a Wound Care Journal.
In 2016 she completed her Advanced Wound Care Certification (Cum Laude) at the University of the Free State.
Roxanne is the latest addition to Procare’s line-up of capable and experienced healthcare professionals. She joined Procare in October to oversee all of the placements and staff operations on the Atlantic Seaboard and surrounding areas of Cape Town.
She holds a Business Management Certificate, which she obtained from the College of Cape Town in 2002, a CBM Academy Executive Assistant certificate and is a qualified ISO International Environmental Auditor.
Roxanne has an extensive background in the healthcare sector. Before joining Procare, she was Operations and Sales Manager at Palm Garden Retreat and Hellen Zille Sub-Acute Wing. Prior to this she spent many years in the Human Resources and Administration departments of medical practices such as Medical Human Resources, Mediclinic Panorama and Mediclinic Constantiaberg.
Roxanne is based in Palm Garden where she works as Procare Branch Manager of the Atlantic Sea Board.
Sr. DESIRE THERON
(ADVANCED WOUND CARE SPECIALIST AND HOME-BASED CARE CASE MANAGER)
Desire joined Procare in 2020 to establish an Advanced Wound care service as a specialized field in the Bloemfontein branch.
Desire completed her Nursing degree in 2016 in General, Psychiatric, Midwifery and Community Nursing.
Currently she is furthering her studies and living her passion for Wound care, by doing the Advanced Wound Care Certification course at the University of the Free State. She will complete her studies in May 2020.
Sr. JEANNE BURGER

Sr. AGNES TJALE
(CLINICAL TRAINING SPECIALIST - GAUTENG & POLOKWANE)
Agnes started her career in nursing as an Enrolled Nurse in 1984 and continued to build on this calling by continuously furthering her studies. She did a bridging course in 1989 to become a Registered Professional Nurse. In 1992 she again took up studying and completed her Midwifery qualification as well as a 6-month Neonatology certificate course at Groothoek Hospital. She worked in the Neonatal and Paediatric wards for Mankweng Provincial Hospital in Polokwane at the time. Agnes then went on and obtained a B.Cur Nursing and Health Services Management degree in 1998 and a Health Sciences Education Diploma in 1999, both from the University of Pretoria.
In 2005 Agnes moved to Pretoria to assume the role of Professional Nurse in the Multi-ICU unit at Netcare Pretoria East Hospital. She completed a High Care course in 2006 and an Adult ICU course in 2007 – both from the Netcare Training Academy. In 2010 she resigned from this position and took up a position at Life Eugene Marais Hospital as the Second-in-Charge of the Surgical and Medical ICU units. Agnes was appointed at Botshilu Private Hospital as Unit Manager of the Surgical Ward and High Care units in 2015, after which she finally moved to Procare in 2017 in the capacity of Clinical Training Specialist for the Pretoria and Polokwane regions.
JOHANN VAN DER MERWE
Johann is a team player with a strong sense of responsibility and loyalty towards his department and employer, applying the company’s Code of Ethics in a highly professional manner.
Johann holds a B.Com degree in Economics that was completed in 2010, and to date he has completed 14 additional Credits at UNISA towards B.Com Financial Management.
He is proud to be a member of the team because he is convinced that Procare is making a marked difference in the Healthcare industry through the upskilling of staff members and providing quality HR services to Clients.
Johann joined Procare in 2010 and is currently responsible for the overall day to day financial activities of Procare, and also overseeing the further development of the company’s payroll software.
SUPPORT STAFF AND ADMINISTRATIVE PERSONNEL
Procare employs a dedicated team of administrative personnel and staff co-ordinators on a permanent basis. They play an extremely important role in maintaining and building relationship with both the clients and nursing staff members. The consultants are available 24/7 throughout the year to ensure “peace of mind” to the clients and staff who we serve.
HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
The company contracts the service of Malaika Human Capital and Labour Consultants as a support service for human resource management of the company to ensure legal and statutory compliance related to industrial relations, UIF registration and WCA registration and management of injuries on duty. Malaika is further responsible for submission of the company’s Annual Training Report and Workplace Skills plan as well as Employment Equity plan submission.
